Do you still stock up on groceries?

I read today that doctors were requesting the president to place the country under ECQ as the number if cases here continues to surge.
It horrifies me to be honest. These past few weeks, I had not been worried about stocking up on goods. But seeing this news, there is possibility of putting us under ECQ again and that means we cannot just go out anytime we want.
What about you there?

I continue to stockpile, pandemic or no pandemic I see to it that the pantry is always well stocked, I view it as preparedness and a kind of asset to have a lot of groceries inside the house.

@Janet357 The country cannot afford to put Metro Manila in ECQ, Philippine economy would collapse. We would be sacrificed so it's everyone for himself now, we must always protect ourselves since government facilities and services are already over stretched and so are private hospitals

What do you mean by ECQ?
I guess something similar to lockdown. We are discouraged from stocking up. It is made sure that essential services and supplies are there in complete lockdown too.

@Janet357 Oh! I see. Thanks for clarifying. Are you suspecting it to happen again?

Yes, I still do. In fact last Sunday, I stocked up on essentials since it was in the news that we will be under lock down again.
True enough, it was announced on Sunday night/Monday morning.
