An Indonesian youtuber posted a video for 2 hours doing nothing

Today, during tea time, my youngest brother told me that one Indonesian youtuber is gone viral just by staring at camera for 2 hours. 
and millions of people viewed his video.
I was really surprise! and asked him, did you also literally open and watch that video for nothing , start staring at the video.. Later on I can't take it anymore
This is the headline he shared with me later
"An Indonesian YouTuber posted a video of himself doing nothing but staring into the camera for more than two hours has created a buzz online".
Imagine, he has also viewed that video and increase the views.. Now I am thinking that are we also become crazy, the headline clearly stated that "posted video doing nothing, but people still open and watch.
Now I really need help from our Indonesian friends to understand why he posted the video for more than 2 hours without doing nothing and staring at the camera. What is the reason behind. I saw the description but I do not understand as it is in Indonesian language..

There's just no way he could sit on just like that for two hours doing nothing.
There's got to be some editing involved. Guy totally humiliates me, getting 2 million views just for that...

@psanasangma ouch okay.... He said that he make this video because of the Indonesians citizens who requested him to do something to educate young generations there.. With a heavy heart he made this video, but it's up to the viewers to filter and catch the message within this video.
So it's like he made this video as an intrinsic message to the young generations who didn't do anything out there.
That's what I understand though.
But still, I better watch something else

People come up with crazy ideas and guess they still get views. Now he is famous doing nothing and people have wasted their time doing nothing but watching him do nothingIt is all crazy.

@mynameiskate I am from Northeastern part of India, many youth follow our south Asian so, they really find everything very fast..
