Unable To Broke Bank Account

Today in the morning I made a discussion on breaking my bank account and I went for it at the noon. I went to the bank and met an officer, he asked for the check of my fixed account. I gave it to him and he told me that I can broke the account from that branch, I have to go to the same branch where I opened the fixed deposit account. I thought it can be possible from here as support online now easy but they can't help for this as the account is fixed.
I brought back my check and now I have to go to my town to break it. In this covid-19 I'm not allowing myself to travel. I wish to get my salary from office that I can bear my expenses next month.

I don't know why they are not allowing you to do that, But I do most of my banking online from home.

@ExplorewtMe I guess that too but the bank send me back and told only that branch can help where is was opened

@SHOHANA I got it, But Fd can also be opened and closed online too.

It is challenging to travel due to this virus that has brought about a pandemic. Banks should let you deposit money into your account. All the banks except one closed down in my local high street. I have to go further to do my banking and some I do on-line.

Its difficult to travel in this pandemic time and as what you said is looks long procedure. I think while you doing this kind of thing, only main branch allow to do as maybe take some sign or etc.
