Now August is here, We’ve said Goodbye to July. It'll be back next year. Northern hemisphere - That means summer holidays. Winter in the south. Do you swim or hike, Relax on your balcony? Whatever. It's good. Stop work for a while. Put away your mobile phone. Try to think nothing. Yet some myLot posts Just every now and then May be permitted. ----- These are haikus. A haiku is a style of poem that has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 again in the last. ----- Photo: reiseuhu

Beautiful Haiku. At last, we have summer. I mostly relax on my balcony.

We have a large garden behind the house, and there is a small balcony at the front. Enough possibilities for rest and relaxation! :-)

@MALUSE That sounds good. You can also relax at the garden if there is a bench for sitting.

@maluse An odd summer it is this year with so many people unable to work but not on holiday either. Perhaps more people will have the time to produce Haikus.

Have you ever produced Haikus? If you haven't, now is the time to start! :-)

@xFiacre Technically ok, but what a gloomy topic! When I had read the first line it melted with the name of your country and I thought you'd tell us in the following lines that The Troubles had started again. I'm glad that only a stag fell. No autumn mists yet. It's still summer - albeit not a very hot one up to now.
