Now August is here,
We’ve said Goodbye to July.
It'll be back next year.
Northern hemisphere -
That means summer holidays.
Winter in the south.
Do you swim or hike,
Relax on your balcony?
Whatever. It's good.
Stop work for a while.
Put away your mobile phone.
Try to think nothing.
Yet some myLot posts
Just every now and then
May be permitted.

These are haikus. A haiku is a style of poem that has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 again in the last.

@xFiacre Technically ok, but what a gloomy topic! When I had read the first line it melted with the name of your country and I thought you'd tell us in the following lines that The Troubles had started again. I'm glad that only a stag fell.
No autumn mists yet. It's still summer - albeit not a very hot one up to now.

I enjoyed these. It is already the third day of August and I cannot believe July is already gone.
