A Child from Wuhan: 'We don't have money."

With this statement, I felt bad that even an 8-year-old child can feel the impact of this coronavirus. I tried to divert his attention because it is not allowed to say things about this concern. It's the company's policy. As I had mentioned before, I lost my freedom to say things during my classes online. 'Would you feel sad if hearing this from a child?' 'Are your kids in the house say things about the situation right now?' Image Credit: growingsnowballs.files.wordpress.com

I don“t have kids in my house. But although my grandchildren know about the virus, they are well fed.

I am glad that they are aware of. Our little miss can grasp the idea about it and continue to educate her about it.

Children pick up when something is wrong in the household. It must be really tough for many people at the moment.

I agree. This kid is quite sensitive. I am sure the parents can handle this concern.

It was a heartbreaking moment during the class. Although I need to carry out my roles as his virtual teacher. My loyal student from Wuhan.

I think lots of adults in China have money problems. They might not be able to work due to the virus situation. It is sad the 8 year old child is worried about having no money. Money is necessary to buy groceries and pay rent or a mortgage.

I agree. Since it was the main city that was affected much, I am not also sure if they are still in lockdown. In fact, this kid is randomly sending this message to the chatbox. I had to use a translation to check his message because he cannot speak that much in English. Once I had checked it, I cannot react appropriately because it is prohibited to say something about it.

I can understand the situation. They are still toddlers and need to playful at times. I am sure you are there when they asked something about it.

My 8 year old nephew was concerned when his father did not receive two month of salary. He overheard his parents' conversation and sensed something is wrong.

It is a very sentimental moment. At a young age, some kiddies can understand the situation. We just need to reassure them that things are fine even if it is not.

You have a student from.Wuhan? It.is amazing that parents really value education even if they don't have money.

It was my loyal student since day one that he enrolled in the company. Even though he is a parrot kid, I tried my best to teach him. He is the only student from Wuhan who continued to book my classes.
