Hello everyone.
I mentioned last post that my husband went series of tests at the hospital. First he had a whole abdomen CT scan to check why he is feeling some pain on his stomach where he his gall bladder was removed and his umbilical hernia was repaired.
The result showed nothing for the surgery so it was good. But it also showed her head back atherosclerotic blood vessels. Since it's hypertensive and experiencing chest pains, the cardio doctor asked him to undergo treadmill stress test. He did but he only do 70% and the doctor was not satisfied so hubby underwent the resting stress test which we have to go to another hospital.
But after all this challenges, me and my family are still blessed because my husband was cleared from any heart problems other than the hypertension. And for the very first time for years, this is the first time he had normal cholesterol and triglycerides.
I was relieved.

I wonder where those pains are coming from if his cholesterols and triglycerides are normal. What could have been causing those chest pains are. I hope it is nothing since having health problems in this times is just hard as the pandemic is just around the corner waiting for its next victim. Those with health problems are the ones greatly affected by the virus so stay safe as always.

@rakski Oh ok its more like heartburn kind of problem. My wife has an acid reflux too and is taking that medicine to relieve her from it. I just hope it will be just that and nothing more serious than that. It is more manageable to treat those than a true cardio problem.

Well it could have been worse I guess. Thank goodness his cholesterol levels and triglycerides are normal now. He must keep them that way.

That is nice to hear. It is a hard time in going to a hospital now because of the risk of the covid virus.
