Hi all, Is it already August of 2020? I guess so. This year is going by both very quickly and very slowly at the same time and I would expect no less from such a strange year. So July went pretty well. I'll start with goals 2 new recipes / July - I forgot - well over 2 though. I think just about everything turned out well. There was an enchilada bake that wasn't quite as tasty as another , different recipe that I have already. And I know I tried a lot of air fryer stuff that I wrote about already. Air fryer - cheese curds, carrot bacon, steak fries and potato chips. 12 exercise days - that is my goal exactly. It was helped a long by cleaning out the garage, mowing ad taking dance classes. 4 Masterclasses/Books "5 People You Meet in Heaven" - book Chris Voss - Masterclass Since mom and I weren't able to see the fireworks in this area (they were moved from their regular 4th of July location to prevent people from flocking we lit off a few of our own. We did a few nice things went on a socially distanced trip to introduce mom and a friend of mine, went out to eat at a patio, meanwhile I try to keep up with the yardwork and cleaning out the house - type duties. It is making the time fly by. Mom's type of chemo switched and this type makes her have lots of side effects unfortunately. They will re-try a smaller dose of it so hopefully that will work, please keep her in your prayers. I hope everyone is safe and well and that life can maybe get back to sort of normal soon Photo: Pixabay's sci-fi collection (PrettySleepy) because, y'know 2020 n all lol

This year was indeed a roller coaster for all of us, with the huge turn of events that we all had to face in this year till now. I have kept my fingers crossed, hope things will change for good

I so hope that you're right. The pandemic goes away and that the world heals around subjects like injustice as well

Sounds like a pretty good month....except for the side effects with your mom's new type of chemo. Hopefully lowering the amount helps. I hope that things can get back to normal ASAP!

Hope all goes well with your mother--it is not easy treatment! I am so mad at myself--for a guy who used to read 4-5 books a month I haven't read a book in 5 YEARS!! OMG!

Thank you so much dear Dianne. So far, so good on smaller dose. A little tired maybe, but still insisted to help me prepare apples to make pie filling today. Yay! Another month closer to having a cure, treatment or vaccine for this pandemic
