Is it 'back to normal' again?

I believe the normal before is back now again, when I, my son, and my sister are left in the house and my other 3 older brothers went back to their respective houses. The 'normal' that I am referring to is, my sister being the most authoritative, condescending, cynical and sarcastic, know-it-all, or in its totality, the badder sister I ever have. It is back to the MYOB attitude for me, but she is the type of person who needs attention from us. She talks loud, and just now, our 2 dogs took a mat where I put some disinfectant on for those coming in the house to wipe their shoes on; and the mat is gone, and she is using a bamboo pole to 'ask our dogs who among them stole the mat', while hitting our aluminum basins. Poor Rio and Jordan, tails behind their hind legs, run fast. I had to tell her not to cause anxiety on them. She does not listen to me, at all! It is back to normal again. I do not know how to react anymore. She is constantly whining, it causes me palpitations. Sometimes I wonder if she is concerned to me. She says she sleeps late at night because she checks on me. She does not. She just wants me to thank her for that. She, unfortunately, is the most childish sibling one can ever have. The 'back to normal' might, God forbids, be the reason that I die ahead of her. I would never like that.

It is sad, your sister has always been bossy and unpleasant and she does not seem to change. I am sorry also for your son, she is your sister, but for him it must be hard to stand such an annoying aunt.

@ridingbet You really have a good and patient son, it's hard to live with people like your sister.

@LadyDuck indeed. my son even hinted me that he will live separately from me because of her.

that is so true. oftentimes, when i feel like talking back, my son, who has developed patience already, calms me down. he says, 'relax mama'.

there is a pandemic so i don't think she can leave home; besides, her daughters live in the capital city and she is 'scared' to travel alone.

i don't think she can still change for the better. it is already inherent in her personality.

i don't think she has more years to change for the better. she admits her attitude now is because she is already old.

That is a typical behavior of kids, they need constant pampering.
