A Pennsylvania police officer saves a 2 week old girl who stopped breathing

Upland Borough Police Officer Jonathan Keeney is being praised as a hero by Charmaine Freeman who is the mother of a two week girl named Mecca who stopped breathing while she was being fed by her mom inside of her home on Sunday. Charmaine called 911 to report the incident as soon as her baby stopped breathing. Officer Keeney answered the call for help immediately since he was close by. By the time that Officer Keeney arrived at the home of Charmaine who met the officer outside of her home when Keeney who has one year of experience in the police force used his first aid training to tap the back of Mecca's back. As soon as Keeney tapped her back. Mecca was able to breathe again. Mecca was taken to a local hospital where she recovered quickly. Charmaine is very thankful that a police officer saved her baby from dying at such a young age. Officer Keeney insists that he was just doing his job to serve his community to the best of his ability which made him feel good. Officer Keeney is likely to be rewarded by his superiors for saving the life of an infant in the near future at a ceremony.
