A family of five persons who were trapped in their auto during a floodwater in West Marlboro Township are thanking four Good Samaritans who risked their lives to rescue them from drowning on Tuesday.
Dan DiGregorio who was one of the four Good Samaritans instructed the dad of the four children who was on top of his auto that was sinking in the raging floodwaters to step inside his auto while Dan and three other strangers formed a human chain by holding on to their belts as they reached to the auto that was sinking in the floodwater by grabbing one person at a time to the shore safe and sound.
Thanks to the efforts of Dan DiGregorio, David MacDonald, Tom Garner and Walter Puddifer, the family of five persons were saved from drowning in the floodwater.
Teamwork is the one way to assist someone who needs to be saved during a natural disaster which was likely as a result of the tropical storm Isaias.

I am sure that the driver got caught in the flood when during the storm, he was caught off guard driving on the road.

@sophie09 Flash floods can turn a dry road into a flood zone fast.

I agree with you since it would be unlikely that the police or firefighters could arrive to assist the dad and his children.

I agree with you since I doubt that a firefighter or police officer could arrive in that area in time due to the rushing water.

That was very brave because that's some fast running water!

I agree with you since flash flood water can end a life quickly by drowning.

I know what you mean since floodwater rescues require a lot of nerves of steel.
