Dear County Board of Elections + FedEx IS delivering it

Just filled out my absentee ballot request form so that I can vote by mail. Let's not talk about the Post master general dude and all that bullhockey, yeah?
I had to carefully open the sides of the envelope even AFTER folding the form to fit the envelope. Then I had to tape it back, so Dear County Board of Elections maybe increase the size of your envelopes?
So last evening I complained about fedex not delivering my package. I called the 800 number and was told by an automated voice that they had sent it to the USPS. Well, they lied, apparently as it will be delivered by Fed Ex sometime today. Still not best pleased that they didn't deliver it yesterday when they said it was scheduled.
Also, Morning...(It's morning here, you don't have to tell me that it's midnight where you are.. I know how time difference work

I heard about the absentee voting even here in the Philippines. Is it safe to send the already filled up ballot via mail? I mean, I believe it it safe because you are in the US.

@jobelbojel Yes, I hope so too. I worry about the outcome of the elections & also about the way the world sees us now. The alliances we had with other countries are more fragile because of the current administration. We are the laughingstock of the world.

I have never done it before, but voting by mail is not new. It is not the way the majority of Americans have voted in the past, but it has still be done. We hope that it is secure, but we have already begun to hear the ways that the Trump Administration is trying to damage the 2020 election.

I hope they deliver it sometime soon too. It says it's on the vehicle for delivery, and they are usually here between 11 am and 2 pm, but we shall see. I could be crocheting up some leaves in the meantime, as I have decided to use a reddish white & brown variegated yarn. I'll stitch them together with the black yarn that is on the way.

Here they are doing vote by mail, and I think polling places will still be open. Online voting is dangerous, I think it could be easily hacked.
