Infected Frontliners Mistreated

Discrimination against nurses are unjustifiable since they're the ones dealing with the Covid19 patients directly. The first one about a nurse who got kicked out by the land lady and their lgu said they can't help her. Good thing the doctor of the hospital helped her out. Second one was a guy, but his hospital neglected him of assistance, abandoned him. Force him to call a radio show and host intervened with the situation. Another was riding a scooter and got power tripped by a traffic officer.. Worst, they're not prioritize by the Government because most salary increase went to Cops and Soldiers. Sadly, that didn't change their abusive attitide. Not to mention a Senator who lacked empathy and told them to work better (like a slave). Yeah, were doomed if this keeps happening.

We already have shortage of nurses and doctors and yet they got the nerve to just throw away their front liners like trash.

That is so sad. Those people should be ashamed of themselves for treating people who have been risking their lives to help with such disdain. It is shameful.

@rebelann Most were just paranoid and afraid. There was one time they barricade an area just to prevent that person from doing self quarantine.

That is sad to know that our medical frontlines are the ones getting neglected and the military and the police are given more importance in their role in this pandemic. I know the military and police are vital in ensuring the orderliness and peacefulness of a community but behind all these from this pandemic the frontliners are the ones fighting the virus off head on and they are the vulnerable ones to get infected in the process.

@Letranknight2015 That is true and they have to contend with the budget they were given to. But I think the medical frontliners should be given attention as well since we depend on them for us to recover from the disease in case we got it. It is not the police and military that can do this role.

Hello @rsa101 Because the President giving extra pay for the Police and Military that there isn't budget allocated for teachers, and public medical professions.
