Hey everyone!
Good morning,Afternoon or Evening depending on your time zone.
I hope you're having a bright day because,it's a beautifully bright afternoon here from my end.
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately as to weither there are peole out there who say NO/YES without feeling bad/guilty about certain requests that seem to be trying to compel them to say the other way round against their will. . .
I have been in different situations before where the other persons tries to compel me into saying YES/NO against my will but, thank I don't give in to such, if it comes at the expense of my free will then, i think it's simply emotional blackmail if you ask me though,or what do you think?
Have you ever been or knows someone close who has been in a situation where compelled into saying YES to certain requests,when in actual sense you know,you should be saying NO and vice versa without feeling bad or guilty about your choice ?

This happens most times at workplaces leaving us sometimes with no choice but nodding!

@jvicentevalera brilliant! Wow that's a very good point you have raised but, your own case been a work place where you work to earn a living ,it is understandable to see that, in every work place there are work ethics or laid down rules to be followed . . .failure to do so which may cost one's job .
Such cases are exceptional for obvious reason.
Thanks alot !

@Sambriel thank you so much! It is my pleasure to give you my insight! Nonetheless outside of the work environment one should never do anything against one's will. I confess that I was in that situation a few years ago when I was in this toxic relationship where I always nod when the other party disagreed with my point of view! Thank God I realized it before it was too late and now I don't let anyone to compel me into doing what they want!

I stopped doing that a long time ago. When I don't want to do something I say no instead of being coerced into saying yes.

Yeah, someone wants to come and visit in two months. I had to say no. Bad timing.

Sometimes you may need to say yes if the situation demands. We can't be rigid particularly with kids and other close family members.

@jayanth_77 No doubt !
Thanks for your honest thoughts
But would you still say so at the expense of your own freewill knowing fairly well that's not what you know you ought to say?

Yes, people can make you feel guilty if you say no to a favor they ask of you. For me, if I can accommodate them I do like to help others. But if it's something I really don't want to do I will not be pressured.

@dgobucks226 well said ! Thanks ! It is very wrong to allow oneself to be coerced into undue pressure.
