Lots of water in my fridge

As I have gotten older, I find it harder to stay hydrated. I've never been much of a "drinker", so to speak (well, that's true too). I have to force myself to remember to drink water. And I try to keep track of how much I had. So, in my fridge is one 800 ml bottle (from school, with school logo), a 500-ml and 350 ml plastic bottle from the hundred yen store, and two 200-ml repurposed tea bottles that I can carry in my purse when I go out. And then I can't understand why nothing is fitting in the fridge. How do you stay hydrated?

I don't like water from the fridge. I used to have a jug of tap water sitting on the sink and I'd try to drink much each day.

@petatonicsca In Nepal we were always being offered warm water before meals or if we just arrived at a place.

@JudyEv Japanese people don't usually drink ice water. Especially elderly people. They say it is bad for the stomach in elderly people.

I sometimes do that too, in any time but the very hottest summer, which it is now. Even now I start the fridge bottle and leave it on the table and finish it off later. Also right before I go to bed I drink unchilled water.

Well, it's too subjective. It has been recommended that we must drink 8 glasses of water to stay hydrated. How can you do it? it's simple. 1 glass of water upon waking up. 1 before you eat breakfast and another after it. Upon arriving to your workplace, drink 1 glass. Taking a snack, another glass of water. After lunch, another one. One upon arriving home from work and after dinner.

That's a clever way to remember. I actually have a thermos beside my bed and I make sure to drink 500 ml before getting up.

@petatonicsca I know you have your own way of making yourself hydrated. Keep it up.

I do not count how much water I take but I think I am just getting enough.

There are many apps which remind you to drink water every hour. You can try them

The problem is that once I start school they will be reminding me while I'm teaching class. I actually do better at drinking water when I'm teaching because my voice needs it.

I normally drink about 3 cups of water per day and I am okay with that.

You are maybe younger than I am. I could get away with that until recently.
