Lodi police officer Erika Urrea is being called a heroine after she witnessed a 66 year old disabled man riding on a wheelchair that was not able to get off the train tracks in time as a train was coming down toward him. Officer Urrea was on patrol on Wednesday when she took action to remove the man in the wheelchair just before the train crashed into the wheelchair. The 66 year old disabled man only a leg injury after the train hit his leg and damaged his wheelchair. The disabled man was taken to a local hospital where he is recovering from his injury in stable condition. Even though the railroad crossing had the warning signals working when the man in the wheelchair attempted to cross, the likely scenario was that the man in the wheelchair attempted to cross the tracks before the waning bells and the red lights started to flash as well as the railroad crossing arms came down. The good deal is that a police officer saved the life of a stranger since it is possible that Officer Urea was his Guardian Angel.

I know what you mean since trains crashing into vehicles and humans is very scary.

That is true since a wheel can get stuck on a railroad track.

If someone had taken a video of that scene it would be like a movie shoot.
