I admire the work of North Carolina Master Trooper Highway Patrol Colby Pridgen who received admiration from his community in Clayton North Carolina when he assisted driver Monica Hines who was in the company of her relatives when they were stranded on a highway in Johnston County when the vehicle she was riding suffered a flat tire.
The Hines family had to wait five hours until Officer Pridgen showed up to assist them by taking them to a nearby town where out of his pocket he bought four tires, purchased a meal for the Monica and her husband plus their children as well as buying them gasoline so they could return to Jacksonville North Carolina after they went to a medical appointment at Duke University.
When the news of the act of kindness that Officer Pridgen did for them, a donor present Officer Pridgen with a check of $1,000.dollars.
Officer Pridgen decided to donate the money to the scholarship fund of the late North Carolina State Trooper Kevin Conner who died in the line of duty in October 2018 when he was conducting a traffic stop.
The best part is that Officer Pridgen felt happy that he was able to assist a family of six persons who needed his assistance.

You are correct since I like what Officer Pridgen did to assist a family in need plus giving the donated money to a charity since he insisted he was doing his duty.

@Deepizzaguy Doing his duty is mandatory but donating his money to the family is laudable.

Officer Pridgen is truly a selfless officer who didn't care for reward or recognition. He was more than happy to help the family of 6 to return to their home.
