Smoke alarm alerts a neighbor to call the firefighters to save two persons

A good neighbor is being credited for calling 911 to report that his next neighbor who was asleep when his smoke alarm went off inside his home in Moultrie Georgia. The Moultrie Fire Department firefighters arrived to the home where the fire started when the man and his seven month old child inside his home. The firefighters managed to break down the front door and rescue the man who woke up by the noise coming from inside his home courtesy of the smoke alarm. The firefighters managed to rescue the man and his seven month child who was also asleep in his playpen. The man was treated by officials of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the scene of the fire which was caused when the man failed to turn off the oven where he was cooking a meal before he went to take a nap. Both the dad and his relative are safe and sound. The best part is that the house was not damaged. It is nice to have a good neighbor to watch your back in these times.
