This is what is happening to our country

I was just reading again about what went down in Chicago last week Sunday. So not sure if you heard about it so let me fill you in. On Sunday in broad day light trucks and U-Haul trucks pulled into the Magnificent Mile, an area of the city that houses their most famous and rich shopping district. They came with crowbars and other tools to breaking into the shops and taking anything they wanted. Is that the worst part of it? I think not. Is the worst part of it I would think is the reaction or the lack of reaction from not only the police but more by state’s attorney for Cook County - Kim Foxx, the mayor of Chicago – Lori Lightfoot and the governor of Illinois - J. B. Pritzker. These three have done nothing to stop this and more to bring it on the city. How did they help? Well lets see if you don’t know who Kim Foxx is maybe you have heard about the Jussie Smollett case. You know the guy who claimed that he was attacked by two men wearing MAGA hats and said it was a racist thing. So for this lie she dismissed the case. She raised the felony shoplifting from $300 to $1000. She dismissed felonies at a rate 35% more than the last state’s attorney. Mayor Lightfoot, the new mayor, she has been doing a lot of talking but not taking any action to stop it. Oddly enough if we look into her experience it makes one wonder how she even became mayor. How is it someone with no elected office experience and someone who’s biggest managerial experience was the head of the police accountability board becomes mayor? J.B. Pritzker The governor who had no previous political experience and even his family would not give him the lead in their business. Let’s see what he has done to help. When the riots started. he called in the National Guard to stop the rioters in the downtown area so the rioters just moved to the outskirts. He did nothing about that. Then he pulled out the National Guard when those people that were rioting complained that the Guard was there. Once they were gone the rioting started again and nothing is being done about it. This is something that is happening in more than just Chicago. This is what they are letting happen to our cities. How is it that this continues to happen and we are doing nothing about it. People need to stop voting these people into power.

Normal people do not want Anarchy in this country but the extreme left is fighting hard to bring it in.

Interesting. My thought was people need to start voting. They need to get a mask. Look at all the facts, get rid of some of the drama, think about the next generation and vote. If they can't wear a mask then get an absentee ballot and vote that way. We were not allowed to complain about what was happening in the country if we didn't STUDY and vote. We didn't have to agree, but we need to study and vote.

Getting out and voting to me is not a choice, I have been doing it since I was old enough to vote. You are right people need to study and know all the facts as best they can before voting, use some common sense when listening to those that are running for office. Not fall for things that sound to good to be true.

@hardtimes1958 I am glad that you are voting. I think everyone should study and vote for who they feel will be the best one to lead the country ahead.

@hardtimes1958 Humm, If you are not satisfied with the person who is in the White House then you should vote your conscience. No one should be told who to vote for, it's a right and privilege to vote and you are not required to share that vote with anyone. If you don't like a person and think they are doing a horrible job, I would think you would vote for who you thought would do the best job. - Voting for the person YOU believe will do the best job IS the way to vote. - Enough about politics.

Why can't they arm the police with powerful tranquilizer darts?

And yet everyone wants to blame Trump. Well you get what you vote for. I hope this makes every voting American vote smarter. And I hope the bad apples are passed out drunk or stoned on election day.
