Hi from the poor house! I just spent over $400 on supplies for new steps at my house. Ah, the joys of home ownership. Hey, that’s 1/3 the price of a month’s rent, so I’m not complaining! I’ll dance down those new steps to the sounds of a great tune...that dates all the way back to 1980. Love Stinks - J. Geils Band Ooh, Stephen Bladd!! Bladd, the J. Geils Band’s drummer, is the cool Fonzie-like guy in the video. Ooh, he’s cute! That has nothing to do with how good this song it. It’s just one of those songs that’s humorous yet truthful. It’s not always a bed of roses. I know a lot of people who can’t identify with this song in any way, and yet I also know people who will say “amen.” I’ll just say “amen” when you say it’s a great tune.
