I never had this hobby to try cooking but preciously during Lockdown period I tried cooking and realized that am not the worst and can do better if I can do it regularly but these days I don't cook because mom is taking all the responsibilities for cooking but I guess I should cook on Sundays so I can keep improving and it's a good thing to be good at cooking. Do You consider Yourself Good cooking or still learning?

I'm an excellent cook. I've been cooking my entire life and enjoy it.

I have been used to cooking by myself since I wandered away from my family. My cooking skills aren't that great, but at least it's edible.

@Butterfingers I get by. I make mistakes and then I make things that I enjoy and have gotten lucky on the first try. I like to make more and more things in my crockpot. Good luck with your cooking. That is a great idea that you want to learn how to cook.

Well good for you, learning to cook will come in handy. Best to watch your Mom cook. By our age we measure by eye, give a taste before bringing food to table and season lightly so we can add but you know you can not take away too much salt when cooking.

I am a decent cook in my opinion, but there is always more to learn. Sometimes I make things that just flop, and am not sure why.

I think it is good to be able to cook. Sometimes, there may not be anyone else to cook for you so it's good to be able to cook a few things.

I think all of us are good af cooking, though it takes practice! I used to think I was the worst cook on the planet, so I started cooking on my own and looking for information on line. Congratulation for trying to cook more often!

I agree with your title. I know how to Cook though nobody teaches me , I learned by myself. But exploring new recipes is a part of learning. That's a good help for your mom if you cook sometimes too.
