Brendel Has A Good Life

Funny story. The Dude usually prefers staying close to me. Inside lately. But Brendel likes getting away from all of us and chooses a spot in the screen room on most days. While the weather is warm she can usually be found in the screen room. I went out looking for butterflies and when I came in she was stretched out on the storage box watching me, and about to go to sleep again. I snapped a photo quickly as she usually doesn't like her photo taken. She is not into all that she said

, let the Dude have all the photos. She could really care less. Funny how different they are. But she is my baby. I rescued her about 3 years before the Dude. She will always be special. And happy to report she seems to be feeling better these days.

I am so glad she is feeling better these days. On occasions that I've had more than one cat, I've found that they each have personalities that differ from one another. No two were the same.

@CarolDM A very old gal, I believe that's around 120 or so in human years. I could be wrong, but either way it's quite a bit.

Me too, I have been worried. Still not 100%. Her hearing is starting to go, she meows very loud. Part of aging. She is 11 now.

My favorite part! It made her stand out when I chose her to adopt. She has pretty green eyes but she rarely shows them off.

Brendel reminds me of the cats Raton Ramon and Munster Cheese who like to be in my nephew or sister's room to relax.

YEs she has had what they finally diagnosed as chronic bronchitis and has breathing problems, for too like COPD. The vet doesn't know the reason unless she was exposed to something while she was on the loose before rescued.

@TheHorse No smoker but there are chemicals outside she could have been exposed to, who knows when they live on the streets.
