A few days ago I bought ryazhenka from the Russian store for the first time. I wanted to buy it before but never did. It's more expensive than kefir and I wasn't sure if I'd like it. It was actually on sale so took the plunge.
Ryazhenka is baked cultured milk. The color of it resembles the beige color. I had no idea it won't be white and was a little shocked when I saw its color after pouring it into the cup. I tried it and like the taste. I might buy it again. It's tasty having it with some cookies.

@lovebuglena Does Kefir taste like "liquid yogurt"? I'm not sure that I've had it.

I'm not a milk drinker; but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful Tuesday.

It is similar to kefir. It's better than milk. And it has lots of probiotics.
