Weekend Post: Saturday (8.22.20).

Heyyy, everyone. Saturday was a good day. Such a good day. :) My sister, brother-in-law, 10yr old niece and I headed out the door to start our little road trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania around 11am. Of course, we made a pit stop for drinks and snacks, and we made another pit stop later, but we still got there in about two hours or so, which is about how long it usually takes to drive from Baltimore, MD (where we live) to Philly. We made it to my friend's house at like...1pm? It was the first time I had seen her since 2017, so I was really excited. We also loved seeing the kittens, they’re so cute! :D We hung out at her house for a bit (and obviously snapped photos lol) before heading to two Dollar Trees, a thrift store and Big Lots. I got something at every store besides the thrift store. The lines were too long and not worth it. I drove with my friend and my family followed behind us in the van. After our little shopping trip, we went back to my friend’s house to hang out for a bit. It was nice to just catch-up in person rather than only via social media. I think we left about an hour or so later, since we still had a 2hr drive ahead of us, plus we still needed to stop and get dinner for ourselves and the rest of the household once we hit Maryland. They got McDonald’s, and we picked up Taco Bell for myself and another niece. I’m not the biggest McDonald’s person. *Shrugs* The kitten was a little confused at first, but she eventually settled on my sister during the drive home, and she gets along great with our other kitten. They love to play together. I’ll try to get a picture of them sometime soon, if I can ever catch them sitting still lol. I eventually conked out after we got home. I was tired and stayed up late the night before, oops lol. It was awesome seeing my friend again. She’s one of my longtime best friends, and I hope we can hang out again soon. :) I’ll make another post about Sunday later. If I would’ve combined them, it would’ve been a super long post lol.
