That's the best place for it

Well, I took some of the books that I showed a picture of earlier and placed them into canvas bags for transporting them tomorrow. It leaves me with four and a half stacks out of six. I am bringing along plastic bags so that I can donate whatever they don't take. Or, I might just drop them in their free bin now that I think about it.. Either way, that's done. I then decided I'd tackle the bookcase some more. I moved the latch hook rugs (top middle shelf on the left side) and then the photos on top of the white box. I peered into the white box, realized I couldn't really consolidate anything there yet, and so moved everything back the way I had it before. "That's the best place for it." I said to myself, "at least for now." I need to tackle the stuff at the top again to be honest. Especially that purple tote full of stuff. Actually, that isn't visible. (Top right above the shelf). Anyway, if I needed to, I could put all the books on the top shelf and then there'd be even more room for yarn. No, the bookcase isn't going to be full of just yarn. I mean, obviously the books are there too.

You are really neatening up your room. I carried a few books with me today to the free book box-in the park. It’s hard for me to give up my books but I will give paper backs after I read them.

I thought it would be harder for me, but it isnt. I am only keeping what I absolutely love. A lot of the books that I am getting rid of are ones I never even read. The bonus is that I got most of these for free, and will get some cash for them.

@RubyHawk I won't be getting so many books again. Just a few in physical form is fine by me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum yes, that is sweet, to get rid of the books you don’t want and get cash in return. I might get rid of more if I could do that.

I adjusted the lightning of your photo and I can spot the purple tote top right above the shelf. I am preparing some boxes full of books, we will drop them to the local library when we go out.

Yes, I forget that I can turn on my light now and dim it, I should have done that. Next time I take a picture I'll make sure to do that. Our library is further away. It's easier to take them to the goodwill as it's on our way back from my bank. I'll take whatever doesn't sell to them.

@LadyDuck Ours do that too, but I'm not sure about whether they would do the same for books. Now with the virus, things are different. I think it would have to be something they could get from the porch.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The charity shop is not very close, but when I have several boxes I can call them and they come here and get what I prepared.

Have you tried to donate your books to the local library?

Why would I do that when I am going to sell them instead? What doesn't get sold will go to the goodwill (charity shop)

@ScribbledAdNauseum ohhh I didn't understand that you are going to sell it. That is a better option.

@nela13 Yes, sorry I know I didn't make that clear. I won't get a whole lot for them, but I will get something for them and that is fine with me.
