John was dreaming that he was with his wife, Mandy.
They were on a large train station, with several platforms on it.
They were both seated on a long wooden bench seat, and they watched two trains come in, and leave, on other platforms.
Then their train came in, to their platform.
Mandy went to the end of the bench seat, where she had placed her bag, for some reason, on the seat there. She had not placed it, where they were seated, right next to them there.
She got it, but then instead of walking back to where John was standing, ready to board the train on the platform, in the second last carriage, she simply walked straight up to the train, and she got in the last carriage.
John run quickly then to get in after her, as the train was about to leave.
Once inside the train, John checked his pants pockets, as they seemed lighter.
John was wearing shorts, with loose pockets, and now his wallet was not in his pocket.
John was most upset, and immediately he thought about quickly jumping off the train again, so as to check the platform, where he had just run across, for his dropped wallet.
The doors then closed, and the train started to move off.
John had not really wanted to leave Mandy on the train by herself either.
He looked out of the window of the door, but he could not see his wallet there anywhere.
"Maybe some ferret had already scooped it up for themselves," he thought to himself then.
John was carrying two shopping bags of groceries with him too. They were open wide at the top.
Absent-mindedly, John now looked into one bag, and not believing his eyes, he saw some money, some banknotes in there.
Surprised, John then kept looking around the bag, some more.
Even more surprised, John found his wallet in there now.
The wallet must have fallen from his pocket, and got caught in the open-topped shopping bag, somehow.
The money must have fallen out as a result of its falling.
Everything was there.
John felt so greatly relieved by this, that he woke up then, still feeling relieved about this fortunate turn of events.
Possible Dream meaning
These journey dreams show both the hiccups, and the benefits of our life journey.
A mishap is never as totally bad as it looks.
There is always a hidden benefit left in God's bag for us to find, even from every seemingly ill event in our life too.
What was the significance of the bag being left on the end of the seat here in this dream?
Things not being where they are expected to be shows us that in life the unexpected often happens, even without a logical reason for it.
Things just happen.

Dreams can give us nightmares too at times reflecting the reality of life here.
I have had instances where things started to look doom and gloom but at the back of my mind, I comforted myself better things were in store for me than I had planned. Soon all is water under the bridge and we move on with more challenges in the offing.
There is always a silver lining even among the darkest of clouds and nothing is really the end even the life as we know here. Give it to our creator to spring endless surprises even right at the end or after that even!
Yes, John was put through the wringer in his dream but he quickly was given a reprieve from his fright. Whether in dream or in real life, the effect on us is the same but soon, thankfully, we are on placid waters but with surprises galore.
Only trust in our creator can give us equanimity - siva

It was a quick reprieve for John. I like it when that happens!
Sometimes, in life, the reprieve comes more slowly, unfortunately, or we might miss seeing it coming altogether, if too much water has already passed the flooding incident.
We need to reach past our last position into a newer position, at every new step into love, which sometimes we do not yet see as it being the necessary new step that it indeed is for us right now too.

@innertalks The fact of the matter is we can learn only from tough experiences and nothing from repeated ones.
It is love still but tough love it looks like when we go through them. Those rides make us tougher, rediscover ourselves and give us confidence and reassurance in our innate abilities.
The present virus crisis tests us like none another - siva

"The fact of the matter is we can learn only from tough experiences and nothing from repeated ones."
I am not so sure about that, nothing? Do we ever learn nothing, from nothing?
Most of our schoolwork was learnt by repeating stuff to ourselves, by repetition.
I often have repeat dream themes.
I think more that we learn from repeated experiences, when they become so painful, that we have to learn from them then, whereas beforehand, we were more just ignoring them.
