When i was working in a cruise ship, i had the longest hour of work in my life. Sometimes it took 15 hours also. Seaman/Seawoman should work 10 hours maximum everyday or else the captain of the ship will notice were having so much overtime that can cause over fatigue and unhealthy crew. And cause of report to the Labor department and may be a problem.
But our superiors asked us to adjust our time card to 10 hour duty only. If we dont do that we will be having a hard time,. We cannot finish our work on time because our job is for 3 person but we do it alone. Individually alone for 3 person task. I just cried and cried and pray. Life is not fare sometime and still i have to be thankful, its what glorify God.
Perks of being a seafarer. Work triple,Travel free.

But if you work compared to that of three persons the salary should also be accordingly

Every job comes with an unfair part of it. That is quite a lot of working time. I am sorry about that. Where are you working now??

That is very unfair. I can understand how you feel. My husband has worked very long double shifts , but we are grateful that he had a job.

He should have hired more crew members. I'm sorry the work was so hard.
