Glued to the TV, watching NCIS: Los Angeles

Around noon today, while I was having coffee and farmer cheese with beach plum preserves, I decided to watch some TV. NCIS: Los Angeles was on. Even though I watch reruns of it and don't keep up with it as it airs new episodes I love the show and can watch any episode, even if it is not from the beginning or if I'd already seen it before. I've already watched four episodes of season 8 and am now watching episode 5. There are a lot of dirty dishes and pots/pans to wash but I just can't bring myself to do them. Plus, I am so glued to the TV. I guess the dishes will have to wait... Do you have a show that you can watch for hours?

@TheHorse Maybe that is a good thing. Some people become TV zombies.

Never watched that. Hubs likes NCIS and Bluebloods. I could watch A Million Little Things forever.

This is a great one. It's with LL Cool J and Chris O'donnell. There is also NCIS: New Orleans with Scott Bakula, who used to play Captain Archer in Star Trek Enterprise. I don't watch this one though. I love NCIS as well. But I watch reruns only just like NCIS: LA. I would actually love to watch both NCIS and NCIS: LA from the beginning and start watching the new episodes when they start airing. They do reruns of both shows on TV but it will hard to find them all.

@lovebuglena Hopefully you can find them all from the very beginning. They seem to have a lot of history behind them.

@DianneN I can do record series and set it to record all episodes, not just new ones, but they will probably record when they air on any channel and I will end up with duplicate recordings of same episodes.

I love that show as well. During the height of the pandemic hubby was binge watching the whole show, most of it online, as not everything was airing on TV. I wish I had binge watched with him because there are many episodes I have not seen. I've set the DVR to record new episodes and will be watching all new ones without missing any. I did not want to watch it originally when he started binge watching but then got really into it and wish I had.

I love the Chicago PD marathons but what I hate is when the episodes do not air in order so you watch one episode and want to find out what happens in the next one but the next aired episode is not the next episode of the series.

I'm that way with a lot of the shows on HGTV. My favorites that will keep me glued for hours are Fixer Upper, Property Brothers, Love It or List It, and Beachfront Bargains.

@lovebuglena I was reading about that not too long ago. I knew they couldn't stay away for too long! I'm excited that their show will be back. It's one of my favorites.

I only watched Fixer Upper. And I've seen episodes of it many times. I can watch that for hours. It was supposed to be over for Fixer Upper but there is a new season coming out on the Magnolia Network, which Joanna and Chip created.

@moffittjc I wonder what channel Magnolia Network will be. Or is that an online thing?

I will say yes to Friends. I also love the Big Bang Theory. I never watched it as new episodes aired. Only reruns. But I could watch those over and over... never getting tired of them or bored.

Yes I do. Though I already finished watching its latest season. I was really hooked on The Handmaid's Tale, now I have to wait for the 4th season to come out in 2021.

I used to watch NCIS, but when the character changes I stopped watching it. I like the old characters better

My friend and I were binge watching Breaking Bad at her house for awhile, but we've gotten away from it. I can watch any Seinfeld or House rerun and enjoy it.

@lovebuglena Breaking Bad was (to me) dark comedy at its best.
