High school students in Illinois gave a child a special birthday present

I am really impressed with the kind act by student athletes who attend Oak Forest High School in Harvey Illinois who took their free time to assist a six year old boy named Wilmer by giving him a bicycle and a check for $100 to be given to a charity of Wilmer's choice as his birthday gift. Wilmer who recently celebrated his sixth birthday was disappointed that he could not celebrate his recent birthday since a storm knocked out electrical power in his parents home last week. The most likely way that the student sports stars found out about Wilmer's birthday disappointment was likely through social media or word of mouth. The students at the high school found happiness giving of themselves by giving a child a gift from them since they realize that even though the Coronavirus prevents them from playing any sports at this time, they realize that some people are going through rougher times in life.
