Two people shot dead at Kenosha Wisconsin protest?

I try to keep up with the news, even as I try just as hard to distance myself emotionally from the news.
Two people were shot dead and several others were wounded at a Kenosha Wisconsin protest last night.
Apparently they have arrested a suspect, a juvenile white kid with a semi-automatic weapon.
There are so many ways to "spin" this story. The lives lost may even take a back seat to the spin jobs that will come from the Right and the Left.
For now, I will only gather data and see what happens. What is your take on the latest round of American gun violence?

I watch and listen. It is madness, absolutely madness going on as everybody sits back and allows it. I feel like I am in a third world country when I see these scenes. They are not protests. They are riots. Looting. Burning businesses. People are dying. Portland, Chicago, all over.

Violence. Murder. Crime.
Left wing or Right wing activism.
Whatever be happening or likely to happen.
Human lives have been lost.
Humanity is losing everywhere (perhaps all over the world).
Religious faith be it of what Great Indian epics tell or even the Bible (where the first murder perhaps led to the word sinner).
No easy solutions in sight though, as many hardliners cannot leave their violent thinking and methods.

I sometimes listen to this song at times like this. "When everyone's talking/and nobody's listening/how can we decide?" (Or something like that.)

Alas, there will always be crazy people. There will always be stupid people. And there will always be lazy people. And there will always be angry people. I suppose that we as a society have to manage these facts to provide the maximum benefit to the maximum number of people. Does that sound like an easy task? Heh.

Personally, if people are rioting, I think the police should shoot them.
I don't know all the details of this latest killing by the juvenile, so I'll hold off on passing judgement. But you gotta figure, if people are allowed to openly carry weapons around like they've been letting them do in all these protests, then eventually other people are going to get shot.

@TheHorse I have not read about that yet, but I'm sure the American Civil Liberties Union will probably be against it. haha

@moffittjc My worry is that humans could remove the dart before it has its full effect.

I refuse to be drawn into this as there is no way in hell I will ever know the right and wrong of it and neither will 99.9% of the rest of the us. It'll spin this way and that causing all kinds of regrettable things to be said and done. I saw it on the news and am answering your post but after this I'll only see more by accident.

These types of "protest" must end. The National Guard needs to be called in to control the rioting and looting. Have a good Thursday.

Of course the shooter was wrong, but so were the "demonstrators" and the police started the whole thing..I understand the heat of the moment and all that, but that guy was posing zero threat to them at that point...getting into his car...really??

@snowy22315 Nothing is obvious to me. I like to collect as many facts as I can.

All of this is orchestrated for political purposes.

@TheHorse Don't you think that the timing of the violent protests during an election year seems like it is planned? , That people in high places who have lots of money to pay the protesters , set it up?

@DocAndersen I take it that it doesn't seem like the kind of town where massive violence would erupt.

As a foreigner I hold back to say something, I do not want to be inappropriate. I just hope one day a law nationwide help to reduce crime by the usage of irresponsible weapons out there!
