What's for dinner? August 26

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! I'm making a special treat: shrimp scampi over linguine. I haven't had shrimp in quite awhile. I bought a bottle of white wine today just for the occasion. Yum! I love a good wine sauce. I don't drink wine but I love cooking with it! I'll probably h ave a green salad on the side just to add some vegetables into my day. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Share with us!

My husband's favorite!!! How do you prepare it? We are having a BBQ. Hubs is in charge and the weather is perfect for eating on the deck.

@NJChicaa Thanks! I do the same, but add red pepper flakes and lately have been finishing with a little parmesan cheese. Oh, I also add baby peas or asparagus at times, too. IEnjoy every mouthful!
