I am really impressed by the act of kindness that six year old Amiyah Dantzler-Clay and her younger sibling Jayden when they saw a Baltimore Police Officer named Major Richard Gibson who was in front of their home doing his work to make sure that the citizens in his neighborhood was safe and sound.
The siblings approached Officer Gibson who was inside his squad car and they gave him an ice pop as a way of thanking him for doing his duty to improve relationships between the police and the citizens of his neighborhood.
Officer Gibson was so moved by the act of kindness by the children that he came back to their parents home two days later and he gave them a box of ice pops as a thank you gesture.
It is a shame that the national media like to paint police officers are monsters instead of the kind deeds that they do.

I agree. Although somepolicemen (and some people) are not kind, some are wonderful.

That was nice of the children to do that. It was awesome of the officer to return the gesture.

It sounds like a good neighbourhood to grow up in.
