I watched another Korean action series last night. That is already my routine. My son was in his nook on laptop with his 2 active screens. he constantly asks me what time should I sleep.
Then suddenly, he was talking in English, in straight English. I thought there are only 3 human beings since his high school that forces him to converse in English. I thought the person he was talking to was, "he is my cardiologist's son".
My son spoke to me in a loud voice, "Mama, it is Doctor Patrick". I said "give him my regards!"
Doc Patrick is a resident radiologist, another high school friend is Engineer Ardee who is now based in Japan but they don't communicate often now. Another one is Vincent, the son of a doctor who is a consultant in the hospital where I got employed as a head nurse.
They played online games while 'worshing worshingly" communicating with each other. I smiled.
My son keeps his high school friends closer even now that they are all professionals.
And yes, my son speaks straight English because he is in to online content writing, boasting to me his payment last Monday, the single amount of $650.00. He deposited it yesterday in the bank.

at these times that it is better to stay inside the house, any online or home-based work is more convenient.

@ridingbet It's not a trend it is mandatory. Many banks are closing their offices and people will work from home from now on. It's great, less traffic, less pollution.

it's good he was into online writing before his brief but promising academic stint. will he ever teach again if the opportunity arises?

no, i don't think he still intends to work in school. it is advantageous too because he is our companion at home since i and my sister are both senior citizens now.
