"What are MAGIC WORDS?"

I am trying to let the students of mine know some magic words to be polite. It is just a matter of making them be good citizens of their country. Among these magic words are thank you, nice to meet you, please, sorry, and the like. I am portraying the wizard of their lives. Personally, I only know three magic words when having a partner and that is to say, "I love you." That's so cheesy! Can you relate to this matter? What are other magic words in your mind? Sorry and thank you are the most powerful words. Sorry doesn't mean you were wrong but it means you value the relationship more than being right. Thank you doesn't cost anything but it makes the giver feel happy. You can thank people for help, for advice, for anything that has benefited you in small or big way.

These magic words need to be used properly. They should be used willingly and not being forced.

"Please", "Thank you" and "Sorry" are the three ones which I and my children learned. Things like "Excuse me" and "May I?" should not be forgotten either but a truly respectful and caring attitude is really more important than any of these and that is very hard to teach.

I am also thankful that my biological parents had taught us these magical words as you had mentioned. I do think that it depends on how the children had been raised by their mothers and fathers. Sometimes if people are saying rude kids, it reflects how they were been raised.

It is the same phrase, "Actions speak louder than words."
