We got to hit a couple yardsales today. It was fun because Gram came with us this time. I think she needed to get out of the house for a bit and it seemed to cheer her up. I know that it's the small things that trip you up. Like putting the chili away that you were holding on to so pop could have a bowl when he came home. Or a joke that Gram found on facebook that I could see him actually doing. My husband went to his firefighting training today. It's an 8 hour class so I'm working a bit now that I'm home. Well, really I'm writing. I finally started working on the last part of chapter three today and it's coming along pretty well. It's a pretty mundane chapter that doesn't seem to need a whole lot of editing. Just a more descriptive word here and there. Maybe an extra sentence in a paragraph. My rankings have moved up slightly so I really appreciate that. I know that they were moving up as I was editing more but since I've only worked on it a tiny bit every day and only re-publish a part every other day or less, the fact that the ranks keep moving up makes me very grateful. I don't think some people realize that readers or other people help us out. Whether the writer is just starting out or established, reviews and comments help us a lot. The views and the star rating as wattpad has, keeps us writing. It keeps us going. Plus it helps others find what we write. Word of mouth is critical because so many judge a book by its cover and most of the time a good book will get ignored. I'll post todays rankings later. I think I moved up three spots.
