Oh I forgot, I Ran into Wile E.At The Bank

It was about midnight and decided to use the walk up teller because, who knows, I am a strange man. If I knew Wile E. Coyote was lurking about I would have probably did the same. I get out of the car close the door, turn around and there he is about 10 feet away just running by through the parking lot. A well fed one, he looked straight healthy, but scared the crap out of me. I would say 50 pounds easy which is on the large size for them. Whoa buddy, just keeps running to the next parking lot and proceeds to bounce back and forth looking for his midnight snack where he disappears into the darkness. This kid comes up riding on bike? "Hey, did you see that dog?" That was not a dog little homie, that was a coyote. "Really, this far into the city?" Yeah, those fools travel. He told me to tell all you guys he says hi.

They are pretty common where I live, but I live on the edge of the city. Kind of close to their little den. You can always hear them yeppin with their little pups, Bet you that guy was from that den. Do not mess with me, I know where you live, he was probably thinking the same thing.

I have not seen one in awhile but never out in public, usually in the woods.

They come out in public all the time here, not many even know its a coyote, some think its just another stray dog, but this city does not allow stray dogs, if you see a stray dog, you will never see it again the next day because how quick they pick them up. They mostly come out at night but one time at my old place where I worked, one was in our parking lot and my boss tried to chase it. It was the middle of the day He thought it was the neatest thing ever. You will never catch it. and he did not come close.

@CarolDM It is, but that is one animal you do not have to worry about because of their great ability to adapt. In Chicago supposedly they are everywhere, and again they are so stealthy people do not even know how many are living in the city. I saw a documentary on it, was interesting. It is probably more scarier for people because like I wrote below there has been news reports of a coyote taking a baby. I think one the mother chased one down and got her baby back and other reports of them taking puppies. Coyotes are not nice if you are smaller than them, if you bigger than them they leave you alone. That is why we got Kai specifically for that reason because I was worried that they would try to start crap with Brooklyn and one thought about it. I was on top of a hill watching it and was staring so hard at Brooklyn but then Kai came out and Coyote goes never mind as they were in the bushes. That is right fool, keep walking.

I have not seen a coyote here but a cougar came to town once and people were honking their horn at it and it got scared and went back up into the mountains.
