Health Journey 2020 - Reboot | August 31st

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope well. I am starting back on my diet today - I don't necessarily want to...but I need to. I have gained water weight, and eating carbs just makes me feel awful. I love to eat them though - and I will still take a couple days a month (hopefully not together anymore) and enjoy carbs but I need to stick to my diet better. So....shall I tell how much I gained? Starting weight ~ 189.4 Today - 183.4 Lowest - 172.8 (July 10th) - That means I am holding 10.6 pounds of water weight. Well, some of that might be not water...but the majority is. So - the plan for my "reboot"? I am going to do a "dirty" keto, or really low carb. I will allow things like the low carb tortillas, carbquick, sugar free pudding, etc... Hoping to stay under 25 net carbs, but not go over 50 total carbs. I will get back to working out - probably starting on Wednesday. Today I will get in a walk as I will go pick up Eli. Tomorrow will be busy with laundry....so Wednesday I will try to get in a dance or Tae-Bo workout. I see my nutritionist tomorrow (first time since March) and I am embarrassed to tell her my A1c is back up to 6.6 and that I gained some weight back. I only have myself to blame though. Yes it does, that is true...I just want to have a good weight loss before the year is over....although I have 75-90 pounds to lose. Thank you!

Actually I really don't have it to blame....I started working out when we were in lockdown and had lost some weight....I just give in too easily to the carbs! Thank you, if I can make it past 4 days then I will be doing good.

@LindaOHio Today went out shopping so grabbed something quick for lunch....so more carbs. However, bought a lot of meats and stuff to go back on low carb.

Didn't last too long :( But I hadn't ate since much earlier in the day and didn't feel like cooking because it was a long day....but still.

Thank you, I hope I can....I usually do fine until the 3rd of 4th day and then give up. So hopefully I won't do that this time.
