Meet my work table......

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 11:10 here I am sitting with my bowl of fresh papaya. It's the first morning break of the day and that's my morning snacks for the day. My next class starts at 12 and I have a good 40 minutes to be here. Today I clicked the picture of my work table before putting my laptop on it in morning. I like things to be neat with minimal required stuff. That keeps my mind free and focused on work. I hope you like this setting. I have kept my work table in one of our balconies to get fresh air and light. And as a nature lover, I will accommodate plants where ever I can. So here are succulents there which need not much water and stay dry. I keep them in sun for few hours each week. Besides my table I have kept few indoor plants in my balcony too. And then I have a simple pen stand with few required items. On the side I have a stool that keeps the books and folders with worksheets. And there is this statue of Krishna. Krishna's biggest preaching was " Work is workship and do a dedicated work without bothering much about the result". The good results will follow. The other thing is the art of Ganesha done by me. Ganesha in Hindu mythology is supposed to be worshipped before starting anything auspicious. A symbol of suspicion and wisdom, he is supposed to remove obstacles from your way. So these two find their place on my work table. When the online classes were started I was not excited about it. I missed and still miss physical classes and my students. But then with these settings I tried to bring in some positivity and motivation to my work. I hope you like my simple work station. Now I will move on to reading some posts here. Have a good time

@hereandthere Yes. It is long working hours now 3-4 hours each day. But then it is not monotonous as I do different things with different group. But that needs lot time to prepare and plan. Here too no or less enrollments to kindergarten and pre schools. They are running out of business.

Thanks. I am glad you liked the painting. It was half done since last year. I finished it in summer holidays and made use of it I have got added responsibilities this year. The one hour session in morning is with my two special kids. They don't have a tolerance beyond that for virtual classes. So later in day, I have been given High school section of 17 children who are poor at Maths. And to be art teacher to three groups divided according to age. There are 12 in each group.... These children have attention difficulties and I am using art as therapy. I have got a permanent full time job this year.

Glad you like it. When I got ready with this, my husband loved it. Now he wants me to do something similar to his work table. But his office space is closed and he has quite a few things needed on table. I am coming up with some artistic idea soon.

Thanks for liking it. When I get too many things there, I feel overwhelmed and my brain does not function well.

I like the setting. I can feel how relaxing to work there. Yes. Personal classes is much better than online but we don`t have a choice nowadays. We have to accept it until the virus will be gone

I would agree that I find this place very relaxing with positive vibes. And mostly because it's in a place with plenty of fresh air and light. . The days it rains, I have to close the glass windows.

It looks very lovely. I have a wood desk in my old family room right next to a gas fireplace. It only has technology products on it. but a large picture window looking out to our manicured lawn and garden.

Glad that you liked it. I can well visualize your description. It must be a good scenic view as you work there. My balcony gets the beautiful view of our swimming pool, beautiful flower patch and a lawn with few palm trees.
