You earn nothing at all for anything you do here. Earnings are based solely on the interaction you receive from others. What you post merely makes you eligible to earn: if nobody responds, comments or otherwise interacts with it, it will earn nothing. Of course, it should go without saying that, the more you interact with others, the more likely it is that they'll want to interact with you, but it's not necessary to spend 'long hours' at it. It's more important to do something every day and to post intelligent, useful and interesting discussions, responses and comments.
