Good morning from this side of the planetIt's 10:40 AM and I am officially done with my classes for the day. Weekday has started for me early on Friday. I am still not keeping that well and wished for another leave today. But I am not comfortable taking any leave. So I just called two of my colleagues and asked for favor. And they happily agreed to it. I generally log in around 9:15 every day. That's the time that suits me. High School starts early at 7. So today I exchanged my class timings with other teacher and took the first session at 7 and took two hours in continuation. Later without any break I took art class for middle school for another 50 minutes and the special class with my two autistic students. Now all done and I can rest for the day. I got ready around 6:30AM. Didn't cook breakfast today. We managed with toast, butter and jam. I had made some avocado spread on Wednesday and that came handy today. I worked from the comfort of my bed for the first time. I needed a back support and my hot bag today as I worked. I am glad that I didn't take a leave today. That's an added advantage of working from home when you are sick. I am still in bed and sipping my hot cup of ginger tea that my husband offered me. I will stay in bed for some time and mylot. Then I have to cook lunch. Younger one is in online school. She just had her first break and I saw her grabbing banana from fruit basketElder one is shut behind door writing her Maths paper. It is a three hours long exam. Husband is busy with his office . It's perfect silence to indulge in mylotting. I have not seen my garden today since morning. Maybe I will go there in some time. Expecting one more variety of hibiscus to bloom. If it does I will share it in post here Nothing much in plan for the day. I will be resting on couch for most of the day and maybe mylotting more For the time being I am sharing this beautiful Coleus leaves. Wanted some more nature in my work place in balcony. Requested husband to shift this pot there from the shaded gazebo on terrace. Happy he did that the first thing in morning Leaving you with this beautiful Coleus in my work place, I will move to knocking off notifications and reading your posts. Thanks for bombarding me with notifications. I felt so nice seeing a huge number there

@arunima25 The slugs ate almost all the leaves of my Coleus plants, then the caterpillars came, there are so many pests in the garden.

@LadyDuck Yes. That's what happened with my plant too. This time I am keeping it indoors. Hope I don't have to face the issue again.

Today even I cleared all notifications... Some I just saved from getting deleted. . These leaves are looking fresh and healthy. Sometimes back they were infested and hot holes. I trimmed the whole plant. Now these fresh ones are here

Thank you. I should be okay by tomorrow. It's good to take a break. With my kind of restless person, rest is never on list till you hit the pillow and snore

I love your coleus. I used to grow them at my other house, but the deer would gobble them up here like candy. Hope you feel better soon, because it's the WEEKEND! I'm almost finished with notifications. I've been trying to keep up with them daily. I seem to complete them towards the end of the day, but wake up to so many. That's what I get for living on the other side of the world. lol

We are not a big fan of avocado. This is one way we have it for its nutritious values.
