September 6 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's Sunday, the Lord's Day and I'm thankful it is. I might not have gone to church as I intended, but I still had a good day. I'm thankful the church service was online. It was a great sermon on Walking in the Spirit. I'm thankful for being here on myLot. I have all my notifications caught up. I visited many of you today to see what's new in your world and truly enjoyed my time here. I'm thankful there's still time left in my day for me to work on Vendetta. I have 15-16 weeks left to get it finished. My deadline. I'm thankful my back is feeling so much better than yesterday or this morning. I can put the heating pad away. I'm thankful for sunny days. I'm thankful for getting up early and having a bed to sleep in. I'm thankful for the food in my fridge. Those are just a few of the many things I'm thankful for today. Do you remember the photo with the cardinal on it? This is the same flower patch. They change it up a couple of times a year.

@just4him Yes I do remember. How cool. I love seeing flowers change over the seasons. Another reason I love visiting the mountains at different times of the year.

@CarolDM I like seeing the changes too and this particular patch is always changing. Fall is coming and those flowers will be gone. I wonder what will be in its place. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the house and won't know what will be there.

@just4him Very happy to read what you were thankful for on this day. I haven't been on much but finally able to spend a lot of time on here tonight to catch up with everyone. So I would love to say I am thankful for that amongst other things. That and for my dad getting better and for the chicken wings that are in the oven right now. I love them so much! Love the photo too!

We have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful that I walked with my friend today. It was the first time I saw deers running towards me and my friend while we were walking.
