How is the holiday weekend working out for you?

Good afternoon.Went to the apple orchard to get some nice fresh apples. This is the first time for me no picking.Was not in the mood. Will make my home made apple pie this week. Been out walking every day.Have to get my legs some excersize. It will have to wait as the next couple of days are going to be hot humid. You do not want to bake in this weather. How is your holiday weekend working out for you. Do anything special?

I bet your homemade apple pie is very tasty. There were a couple of nice days but now its back to hot and humid again.

@amadeo I think our weather is very similar to yours right now so I definitely wouldn't be turning the oven on either.

Its quite a cool day here today. A good day to stay in as it looks like it will rain again. We had a really nice day yesterday and picked up some apples, pears and some apple cider at an orchard. Enjoy the rest of your day today.

Can I come over for socially distanced pie? I was given several large bags of apples. Mom helped me to make it to apple pie filling to freeze. Do you make your own crust?
