The Mullah's son, Abdul, could not yet read, and he used to ask his father to read to him from his scrolls. The Mullah told his son that this was his job, at the mosque, to read, to teach, and to interpret these scriptural tomes to the people. He was paid handsomely for his doing so, by donations collected for him. What would the son give to him as payment for his time, and effort in doing this, solely for his son? "No", he said, "next Saturday night, when I give my talk to the people's, you can come, and sit in the front row of the assembled crowd, and listen to me then too." The son went to the mosque, and he sat in the front row, and at the end of his father's talk, he stood up, and he said, "This talk deserves more money than you usually give to my father, because he was giving it to pay for my own education too." The Mullah was very pleased, and he was also proud of his son; much money was collected that night, as much as he usually got in a month. That's how life is being sustained. In order to survive, a person must work to earn for a living. That how Mullah taught his son.

Yes, in this world, nothing much is ever given out for free. We have to work hard for all that we get.

@innertalks Just like the work policy: no work; no pay.

@Nakitakona That's true, but on the other hand, even the Bible tells us that the labourer is worthy of his hire, or deserves to be paid fairly.

Yes, the father, the Mullah, knew here, that his son would learn best in a real situation, like this, and he was right, as his son stepped up to bat, and hit home, a home run.

@Shiva49 Yes, if the son was wearing a mask, he might not have been so readily recognised as the son of the Mullah....until, he started to talk that is....

@innertalks Good that not like now. It was free for all in a crowd than being masked up with safe distancing et al - siva
