Hodge Podge

That's what this discussion is about. A hodge podge of things. Dream I woke up and fell back asleep several times this morning, so I don't remember everything that I dreamed about. I do vaguely remember an old van that someone in the family owned and lots of cousins piling into it. Some of us were the age we are now, but others were younger than they would be today.. Soap Subtitled: We shall see Bought soap from a local business again. Ordered it online since their business still isn't open. Bought a citrus bar as well as the rosemary mint bar this time. Last time I ordered it, it came the next day but we shall see with the way the USPS is at the moment Package I ordered something on the third and it was supposed to be here today. I talked about this on another discussion, it's now supposed to be here Saturday. It's postal service related for sure because I ordered from this same company last month and received the package within a week. Rain and Storms That is what is on the weather forecast today. I love overcast skies. Home Flipper Came across this game that I might buy. It's called Home (or House) flipper and you buy houses that you can fix up and then flip for profit. Or you can be a handyman for hire. It seems like it would be a fun game and something I'd enjoy playing. It's on Steam for those curious. Supper I am still struggling with low carb. I don't really do snacks, so my main problem is just the meals. I'm making the same thing I made last week except the tortillas I bought this time are 4 net carbs instead of 3 net carbs per tortilla. I also bought onions to go with it. I don't know why i didn't get tomatoes too, but oh well.. I bought some bread from Nature's Own that I am going to try. It's lower carb but not the best low carb bread out there. I'm thinking I'd like to eventually try making my own low carb / no carb bread... So that's the hodge podge..

I am ready for fall temps. We are having lows in the 60's at night, but still high's in the 80's here. I believe we have rain for the rest of the week.

@CarolDM I've already started to see some foods in store. It's too bad that I am on a low carb diet and can't get any of those items. I think the first thing I saw were those cinnamon brooms though.

Thanks for the update. The game sounds like fun. I have over 100 video games on my computer but haven't felt like playing them in quite some time.

I play Skipbo almost every morning now. I used to play Candy Crush Soda Saga daily but have gotten bored of it. I might try to find an Uno game too.

@LindaOHio I like the hidden object ones a lot, and the story adventure ones are fun too.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have a little bit of everything in my collection -- card games, board games, word games, match 3, hidden object, story adventure, etc.

I was looking at Walmart for reduced calorie bread...PFarm was 3.92 a loaf...that is a lot for bread,,,not paying that! The Nature's Own wasn't much better..so pass. Aldi is supposed to have a zero net carb bread, but I haven't seen it there, supposedly it is so popular it can't stay in stock.

The zero carb bread at Aldi's has a red label on it. Went with a friend last week and there were quite a few loaves at that location atleast. There's another brand I've been recommended. Courtney Dutton here told me about it, Franz I think is the name and it's sold at Walmrt

Making your own low carb bread sounds like a good idea The house flipping game on steam sounds like fun. I like watching those types of shows on tv

I get addicted to those types of shows, so I don't watch them very often. Someone playing the game was a suggestion on youtube so I watched the video and think I'd like the game.

Do you only use that citrus soap? Or you use other brand too? I only use one brand because of my skin's sensitivity.

I use different brands, and I've never used the citrus soap before at all. I've used the Rosemary Mint soap that I also bought though. I like this store's soap because it makes my skin feel soft
