Smoky sky today

This photo doesn't show it too well, but the sky was dark,smoky and orange today. It was dark at midmorning,with an orange glow. It was dark all day. This was from being surrounded by wildfires. It has been called a hellscape
cape,or compared to waking up to being on Mars. It is also notoceably cooler today--it didn't even hit 70 here in San Jose today.

Omg...when will these wildfires stop there..it has been months and the quality of air would have been terrible now

It is actually far away,but weather conditions let the smoke drift all the way across california.

I agree with that. it has been referred as halloween weather. Still like this today but seems less orange.
