Oh, man.

Last night I got a migraine to rival all of my previous migraines. I was up all night, throwing up and dry heaving (too much information?). I didn't sleep at all, and figured my head had quit throbbing enough to make it to the Dollar General, which is right behind my apartment complex. I needed saltine crackers if I was going to keep anything down. I stumbled inside and asked the lady right near the door where they were. One aisle over, and I was ready to pay. All day I just took medicine, prayed for relief, and waited it out. I finally feel better. It wasn't until hours later I realized I didn't wear my mask in the store. The pain made me forget, I guess. I mean, it was in my car, but I just forgot. I guess the lady didn't think it was worth mentioning to me, or didn't notice. I felt so bad for forgetting.
I'm due for my botox for migraines next week. When it starts to wear off is when I get one like this. The botox for migraines has been life changing.
Have you ever forgotten your mask? Have you had any life changing medical situations?

Oh wow, sorry to hear your migraine was so bad. Is there a way for them to move up the date of your next botox so that you don't get the migraine like you did today when it starts to wear off?

@AmbiePam That sucks that they can’t (or won’t) adjust the timeline to better meet your needs.

That must have been awful. I'm glad you're feeling better now.
No, I've never forgotten my mask.
I've never had any life changing medical situations either. Sorry to be so boring!

@AmbiePam Thank you. I did fall on a rake once when I was 8 but it wasn't life changing and I did get over it, even though I have still got the scar just below my right knee!

I'm praying you don't get another horrible migraine before your injections. I was only on Effexor for three weeks and the lowest dose, but I'm having withdrawal effects since I stopped last Wednesday.
I hope I NEVER have to take any of those antidepressants again. For me, they're worse than the headaches.

@AmbiePam I cut one pill in half, but the NFP said I could quit. I know it was a low dose, but apparently even that needed to be gradually reduced. Did you have many problems on the meds?

I pray you were able to get your injections and are feeling much better. I thought about you today when I finally got my Neurologist to give me an appt to get the Botox injections for these migraines. I'm going in two weeks and I'm a bit apprehensive, but these last five meds have been very little help and had bad side effects. My daughter has gotten the Botox for a good while now and they really help her.

Oh I'm so sorry that you had that much pain. I hope you don't have to feel that again ever
I wonder if they can shorten up the time between shots for you?
Ah yes. I had to turn around and go home because I forgot my mask
I'm thankful to say I have no life changing physical health issue

@AmbiePam *sigh*. I think insurance should stay out of medicine, but that is a good way to look at it, I mean, at least it covers....

Given how ill you were when you went to the store it was nice that for whatever reason the clerk did not say anything to you, or any other shoppers.
Here they point you out and ask you to leave the store if you do not have a mask on.
I keep a folded cloth mask in my purse and another in my car, as well as my hubby has one folded in the car. I take those out and wash them every so often, otherwise they are in a sealed baggie to stay fresh.

Oh, I’m so sorry about your migraine. I had shooting pains behind my ear a few days ago. I don’t know if it was a migraine or a brain tumor, but I will have to tell my doctor.
Sorry you have to wait so long for your Botox. If I was suffering as badly as you, I would forget my mask, too.

I'm sorry your migraine was so bad. I'm sure the severity of it caused you to forget your mask. I'm glad you're feeling better now.
Yes. Five years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Not a happy camper about it either. Most of the time I don't notice it.

I'm sorry about your migraine. The Botox should fix you right up. So far I haven't forgotten my mask. Yes, when I lost my mobility, it changed my life.

I get a few bad migraines a month, so I feel your pain. This last one I had was while I was on my period. So that was extra fun.
They only require them at half of the places we go into. We went to the parts store today and they told us we didnt need them, but ours stay in the truck anyway. When we go to Walmart to get dog food in a little bit, they are going to be required.
The kids have to wear them on the bus and in school. DG employees arent even wearing them here.
