Good Morning!
We are having a bright and pleasant morning today!s'
When I got out of my place for morning walk I was wished by a lonely chirping sound which was very pleasant to my ears.
I was bit surprised to hear this sound as it was not a routine birds' sound, this bird was some new one!
Upon observing carefully to locate the source of the sound, I found the sound was being made by a lovely squirrel sitting on the nearest branch.
Later on other squirrels also joined him and there was a nice music of the nature I was enjoying early in the morning with their Chirps and Squeaks!
In fact they were waiting for their morning food which they have while I feed the birds regularly!
How was your morning/evening? Have a great day!

Yes! I know that you don't have squirrels in Australia! Yes they are the rodents who are very expressive and they are cute look at ! Their lovely chirping like birds, together with funny and quick actions of theirs make them very charming and adorable! They really make my mornings!

I am waiting to restart my morning walk. I used to meet a few of these squirrels every day.
I find them cute
What a coincidence! yesterday I was helping my younger daughter with her Hindi lesson. We read "Gillu" by Mahadevi Verma. It is a story of a pet squirrel and has been my all time favortie.
I am not sure if you have read it.

Wow! I had the lesson in Hindi subjct when I was in school! I can't forget that composition by Mahadevi Verma, She starts the narration with the bloom on the Juhi tree while recollecting about the 'Gillu!' In fact I adopted a baby squirrel after getting inspiration from her write up about 'Gillu!' The squirrels are very cute and adorable as they readily recognize people and love them! The squirrel I had was another 'Gillu' you can say!

@arunima25 , Her stories and style of narration both are simply superb and are ever green! Though I have not read her other stories I have heard about them! Having a squirrel as a pet is a great experience!

@AKRao24 I have read that lesson as a school girl and then with both my daughters. I love her way of writing and her love to all her pets ( she had so many of them) is so obvious. It clearly shows what a kind soul she must be. There is a collection called Mera Pariwar which has all her stories around her pet. I am sure you must have read Gaura, the cow and Sona, the deer.
Oh! That is great that you had a squirrel as pet.
