The West Coast Is On Fire

Sadly much of the West Coast is on Fire, we are smoked in, but I realize some have it far worse. I know people in Oregon who were evacuated only to find out hours later they lost everything.
Even miles and miles away the effects are felt, and suddenly it seems like something out of a doomsday novel. The West Coast has dealt with fires before but not to this extent.
Everyone is being hyper alert, unless they have their head buried in the sand, so to speak.
Please pray for those facing loss, much of Medford Oregon has been destroyed. Washington facing great loss too...
My heart breaks as I watch friends face the very real reality of loosing everything they worked so hard for.
Ferocious winds are fueling massive infernos in California, Washington and Oregon. More than 30 million people are under red flag warnings. » Subscribe to NB...

That is pretty sad and dangerous. Hope the best for all of them.
Someone told me that one of them fires started by a gender reveal party that had sparklers at the party. Not sure how true that is but that would be a crazy reason to have all this going on.

@Michellekidwell Flippin morons, they couldn't just tell their family? They had to burn down the whole state to let people know.

I know it is rough there. I have relatives in Oregon. They are concerned. I will say a prayer.

It’s incredibly hard to get Fire insurance here, so some are, many aren’t...

I keep praying for rain; but because of El Nino it doesn't look like there will be any rain.

It is sad my best friend text me, and said they were told to be ready to evacuate. She lives in Altadena, California. I use to live around there.

That is terrible I didn't know it had gotten so bad. I will continue to pray for everyone and I hope that people can be saved and many have gotten themselves to safety. I hope you and your family are all right stay safe

Are the houses not covered by fire insurance?
