When It Was Friday

I know that anyone could tell you the reason Fridays are special is that the work week ends and the weekend begins. However, there was always so much more to that Friday feeling. I know that in my young adulthood Friday made my feet want to dance and my smile could not be wiped off my face. Just something was different about Fridays and even if I got the days mixed up if I was feeling beyond the moon it was a Friday.
Now working at home it is not the same but the Friday memories remain. At one time I was really into country music and George Jones had a great song about Friday called "Ït's Finally Friday" and can't we all agree with these terrific lyrics?
It's finally Friday
I'm free again
I got my motor running for a wild weekend
It's finally Friday
I'm out of control
Forget the workin' blues
And let the good times roll

@andriaperry especially in my first job. All of us were young adults just starting to work so every Friday before we all went home we went to the nearest bar for happy hour. Those were fun times.

I like Friday's because it's the end of the work week & the weekend is here to have some fun and relaxation time. I am working from home too and every day feels the same to me.

I've always loved Fridays. My love began when I was in third grade and took piano lessons. I traveled downtown and home by bus and had time before my lesson to shop and look at all the beautiful toys, later clothes, and later than that, makeup, in our local department stores.
Always came home to a happy home with great smells of our Sabbath dinner cooking.
