How long do you think you can you go without checking your phone?

A few years ago we wenton a family holiday to Dubai. It was approximately a month long trip. I made sure that I packed my phone and anything else I may have needed into my hand luggage. I was all set.... We had a few hours remaining before the connecting flight and I put my phone to charge in the airport lounge area, AND LEFT IT THERE!!! I forgot my phone at the airport and had to spend 26 days without it :( I went 26 days without checking my phone! I felt kind of lost and helpless without it. How long do you think you can you go without checking your phone?

Normally I would not give two hoots about my phone. But I am in sales, and of course I need to be constantly checking for phone calls, texts, emails etc. For me that phone is an extension of my living and so I need to be checking it quite often so I don't miss out on money.

Oh my what a terrible thing to happen to you lose your phone in an airport. Well the only reason I check mine a lot is because I have home security cameras on it. Otherwise I dont bother with it, no one calls me.

I need to have it when I am out so I can call for help or just chat to people when I am anxious like if I am going somewhere new on my own

I hope you still enjoyed your holiday, although I'm sure at the back of your mind you still thought of your phone, I think the most I have gone is about 2 days when the battery was being problematic and the charger wasn't working, I have recently learned to live without being dependant on my phone though as I have gone about 6 or 7 months with phone issues and have been using it less and less.

Yes I did enjoy the holiday, but whenever we were waiting to check into a hotel or in line for something..can you guess what I missed the most?

@Jazz96 as long as you enjoyed the holiday is the main thing, but yes waiting around would be the hardest times, accidentally forgetting you have it and start feeling all your pockets looking for it

I use my phone but I'm not stuck to it. Most times when I go out, I even leave the phone at home.

Hours. I need to check it on a daily basis for family emergencies or client concerns.
