How Often You Clean The Filter Of Your AC?

The choked filter will hamper the performance of the AC unit and the room doesn't get cool !
In order to keep the efficiency of the Air Conditioner to the optimum level we need to clean the filter regularly.
Since I am staying on the farm and there is lot of dust, I need to clean the filter of my AC unit at least once in a month. This I do it all by myself!
How about you - How often you clean the filter of your AC? Do you clean it yourself or you get a technician to clean it?

We hardly use AC here. May be a few days in April that is peak summer here. So husband cleans it before we start using it. So just once a year.

Bangalore has naturally air conditioned weather. We bought AC two years back. Before that we never felt need for it.

@arunima25 , Yes, that was the weather bangalore used to have! Some decades back we were not even requiring fans to put on during the afternoons! But then things have changed a bit now! With a polluted environment things have changed!
